MIT will be hosting two small, moderated discussion groups for all staff, postdocs, and faculty: Processing Your Emotions During Troubling Times. These conversations will be led by Dr. Mike Marquez (PsyD), a relationship psychologist who specializes in helping communities cope with adversity. These interactive groups will give space for participants to share, and will also provide science-backed tools to help nurture healthy emotional regulation. Staff, postdocs, and faculty who are interested in attending must register as space is limited. The two group offerings will take place on:
- Thursday, November 30 at 3:00 p.m. [Register]
- Wednesday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m. [Register]
In addition, there are two more sessions of the following webinars (one of which is today), for which registration is not required. Zoom links are available on the HR website (Touchstone required).
- Navigating Uncertainty During Troubling Times: Tuesday, November 28, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
- Fostering a Compassionate Community to Handle Difficult Conversations: Wednesday, November 29, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
